Hired two groups of seniors enrolled in UWRF’s experiential learning class to perform a preliminary market study and draft a business plan. Both groups determined our project was feasible.
During the period of October 2011 through May 2012, we formed a steering committee, created a website, met with leaders of nearby grocery cooperatives, and researched how to start a grocery co-op.
Issued our first public interest survey. Received over 200 positive responses in 2 weeks!
