The Hudson Grocery Cooperative Board of Directors is pleased to welcome Mark Hein as the incoming Store General Manager.
With over 40 years of experience in the grocery industry at stores in Minnesota and Wisconsin, Mark brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. For the past two decades, he has held the position of Store Director for Family Fresh and Econo Foods stores under the SpartanNash organization, where he excelled in revitalizing stores confronting various challenges, including those in Somerset and Farmington. Mark was also the leader of the Family Fresh store in Hudson until its closure a few years ago and he currently leads the Family Fare Supermarket in Red Wing.
Mark has a proven track record of transitioning organizations to new ownership models and streamlining operations. As a co-op, we value supporting our community and ensuring that our business is rooted in the Hudson community. Mark has been a resident of our community since 2007 and has been an active member of the Hudson Chamber of Commerce since 2018, as well as a volunteer with the Hudson Hot Air Affair. He currently serves on the Board of the Hudson Chamber of Commerce and has been a strong supporter of the Hudson Grocery Cooperative.
Mark has a clear vision for the store to ensure that we meet the needs of our community today and in the future. He will officially start on April 29. Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Mark!
