Save the date! Hudson Grocery Cooperative is hosting our annual Owners’ Meeting when we will celebrate one year of owning our store!

We invite owners to come and celebrate with us!

Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 6:00pm (check-in begins at 5:15pm)

The President and Board of Hudson Grocery Cooperative have called an owners’ meeting to provide an update on our store’s progress and a glimpse into the year ahead.

We are excited to host our annual Owners’ Meeting and celebrate our accomplishments with a dinner at The Empourium. We will celebrate a full year since our purchase of Fresh and Natural Foods on December 1, 2024.

During the past year, we have:

• Hired Mark Hein as our General Manager
• Dropped prices on products throughout the store
• Introduced regular sales and store specials
• Updated the interior of the store including painting, lighting, and product displays
• Fully updated our technology in the store
• Introduced hundreds of new items
• Brought many local vendors into the store
• Introduced the ability to support local charitable organizations through our Round Up at the register campaign

Food will be provided with a freewill donation to offset the cost of the food. A cash bar will be available. Registration and social hour will begin at 5:15 pm and the meeting will officially begin at 6:00 pm. Immediately following the business meeting we will celebrate our accomplishments with a social time for our owners and the Board of Directors.

It is important that we have a quorum of our 1,300 owners at the meeting to conduct business. Please attend if you are able.

Owners will have the opportunity to vote for 4 seats on our Board of Directors. Incumbents Joe Rouleau, Hannah Baias, and Amy Hess are up for re-election and we have one open seat and an alternate seat to fill. If you are interested in learning more about serving on the Board of Directors, please email board@hudsongrocery.coop to receive an application.

We will also vote to amend our Articles of Incorporation to make our registered address the store address and to make Mark Hein our registered agent with the State of Wisconsin.
