Mark Hein

HGC owner #895 - Mark serves as the General Manager of Hudson Grocery Co-op. With over 40 years of experience in the grocery industry across Minnesota and Wisconsin, Mark brings extensive knowledge and expertise to the Co-op. For 20 years, he held the position of Store Director for Family Fresh and Econo Foods under the SpartanNash organization, where he successfully revitalized struggling stores in Somerset and Farmington. He also led the Family Fresh store in Hudson until its closure and, prior to joining the Co-op, directed the Family Fare Supermarket in Red Wing. Mark has a proven history of guiding organizations through ownership transitions and improving operational efficiency. As a co-op, we are deeply committed to supporting and rooting ourselves in the Hudson community. Since 2007, Mark has been a resident of the area and has actively contributed as a member of the Hudson Chamber of Commerce since 2018 and volunteering with the Hudson Hot Air Affair for many years. He currently serves on the Chamber's Board and is a dedicated advocate for the Hudson Grocery Co-op. With a clear vision for the store, Mark ensures we meet the needs of the community both now and into the future.
